Carestream Health has recently enhanced its imaging solutions with updates to its ImageView Software and DRX-Evolution Plus System.
The latest ImageView software version 2.1 introduces new smart room features like virtual long view, virtual collimation, and patient position monitoring.
These advancements enable radiologists to achieve precise positioning quickly, leading to more consistent and efficient imaging processes for faster diagnosis and treatment.
These improvements address the need for enhanced productivity in their DR product line. The updates include camera-based positioning capabilities that improve accuracy, reduce retakes, and enhance patient comfort during exams.
In addition, Carestream has introduced a detector alignment tool to quickly assess detector position in non-buckybore environments, ensuring alignment between the tube and detector to boost radiologist confidence and minimize grid cut-off risks.
The DRX-Evolution Plus Digital Radiography System has also been upgraded with new features from ImageView 2.1 software, alongside additions such as a reliable grid frame for wall stands, two-way audio assist, patient image options, and AEC edge location on the console screen.
These enhancements complement Carestream's existing portfolio, which includes advanced imaging solutions like tube line visualization, low-dose dual-energy bone suppression, digital tomosynthesis, and AI-powered smart noise cancellation.
